November 25, 2018 marks the 26th annual Hawaiian Slack Key Festival on Kauai! This Hawaiian acoustic guitar tradition literally means, “loosen the key.” Artists loosen the strings on their instruments making for a unique sound as they finger-pick the notes. Brother Noland and Ho’okena are two of the sixteen artists performing this year.
The Hawaiian Slack Key Festival will be held on Sunday, November 25th 2018 from Noon to 6:00 PM at the Marriott Kauai Beach Resort and Spa.

Festival t-shirts and artists’ cds will be available for sale. Ono (delicious) food and beverages, made by the chefs of the Kauai Marriott, will keep you perfectly content while listening to the sounds. There will also be a pre-Christmas craft fair, full of Made-in-Hawaii products. And, a brand new taylor guitar will be given away to some lucky winner. Enjoy this relaxing afternoon full of Hawaiian music and tradition!
